Surf etc.
We have come to this island with nothing more than a couple of suitcases and now I am afraid we would not fit on a ferry. But since we dont plan to leave any time soon, we can as well hold on to all this equipment for fun and sports and have it ready for you as well.
We will surely find a surf board for you so that you can give it a go.
It is very likely we will have your wetsuit size or at least the right size for your partner or your children.
Unless you have professional snorkeling gear of your own, do not bother to bring any along.
If your feet fit one of the three sizes we have, you can grab a pair of roller-skates and roll it down from Arrecife all the way to Puerto del Carmen.
You can also try out one of our skateboards.
Haki loves fishing so there is some fishing gear.
We have a collapsible kayak. If you have a reasonably big car, you can squeeze it in the back of it and drive anywhere on the island.
Nor should I leave out the yoga mats, arc and arrow kit, the different types of rackets to get you run around the playground below the house, all the different types of balls, a small basketball net that’s usually set up by the trampoline and the trampoline itself.

Surf is life
There is something very simple and beautiful about grabbing a surfboard and making it your body extension in the ocean. You spend most of the time in an intimate connection with it, holding onto it while paddling and diving to get to the line up, searching for waves or calmly resting. Riding waves represents just a tiny, insignificant fraction of time you spend in the water. Seconds on bad days and maybe a few minutes on the good ones. But when there is just you, your board and the waves to be caught, the experience is so complete and the time so relative ...
Its just so much fun…
